About European IMS
European IMS is a member-funded, European non-profit organization with a mission to:
- Ensure participation and use by Europe in open elearning specifications.
- Support adoption of open elearning specifications by European vendors.
- Promote the development of open elearning specifications that benefit European users.
- Promote an inclusive, open, accessible, European and Global open specification-based market in order to "level the playing field," especially for non-English speaking developers.
- Acknowledge the value of open source projects in the advancement of elearning.
